THE GENERALS HQ is a World Wide war gaming group. It was created in July 2005.
Members can play against the AI or since January 2006 it has been available for enthusiasts to
play online against each other.
THE GENERALS HQ members, at this time, have a leaning towards Napoleonic times, but other
time periods have been tried {a little}. It is not important which war games you play, We are trying
to develop and perfect systems to support accurate campaign gaming - this is our aim. We gather
and modify software to this end. If you enjoy sharing your leisure time in gaming or in this kind of
activity we would appreciate and enjoy your input.
Most of us have been or are members in other war gaming clubs. For people wanting to join we have
these suggestions. To gain expertise and also possibly the maturity required for campaign
gaming, battling the AI is the way to go. Then there is the quick and casual battle online with a
friend to extend your skills. The ultimate and our aim is the multi -player battles and campaigns.
THE GENERALS HQ group has two kinds of membership. The first is to become a member of the
forum group. This is for those who have expertise and want to help develop our systems to
support online gaming. To join, as a gaming member, you have to play against one of our
moderators. You don't need to win - you just need to have the persistence to carry on with the
game to completion.
